Instructions
Clean the chicken and cut it into small bite-sized pieces
In bowl, add 1tbsp yoghurt, 1tsp chili powder, 1/4tsp turmeric powder, 1/4tsp garam masala powder, 1/4tsp pepper-cumin powder, 1/4tsp coriander powder, 2tsp lime juice, orange-red food coloring, and 1 tsp corn flour. Mix everything thoroughly
Give it a taste. Add more spices or salt if required now
Now add the chicken pieces to the yoghurt mixture and make sure all the chicken pieces are coated with evenly yoghurt mixture
Let it marinate for at least half an hour
Heat the oil and fry the chicken pieces until done
Serve immediately with lime wedges
Notes
How to make ginger-garlic paste?Add equal amounts of ginger (peeled) and garlic to a small mixer. Grind it for 15 seconds or so; and then add a tbsp of water (or as required), continue to grind until you see a thick and smooth paste. Use and save the rest (in the refrigerator to be used another day).
